But seems like "The accused" ending is pretty hard to get if you are playing fast. Is there some sort of a timer, that counts how long enough you are staying at mr. Prescott's apartment?
This is my second playthrough, because I've got deleted my first video by mistake and no matter how I tried I cannot get this ending. I have to restore save files from previous game session to show it.
Also yes - this is impossible to complete without saves if you are calling the cops. Because your evasion chances will depend on how far enough the enemy will spawn from you after cop dies. If it two blocks from you - game over, you cannot escape the murderer even with the sneakers. To me this game has the most balanced enemy compared to other rpg maker unfair bs that I played, but there are still some place for improvement: make enemy spawns at least 3 or better 4 blocks away from the player. Always consider engine limitations and never EVER make 2! Because enemies can hit you on diagonal, like a queen in chess.
In the YT video you can clearly see, that after fully completing the game and achieving the "good" ending, I've reloaded the game from Prescott's apartment then running straight to the elevator and still got "survivor" ending... while a policeman laying completely dead in the foyer, lol.
I've tried reloading multiple times and getting the same thing every time. This moment, the first "reload", is still on the yt video, I've just cut the rest straight to when I restored my other save files.
(Spoiler) It was that vase - that I had checked some 100 times - next to the telly that gave me a headache. I learned something about the lights …
Usually, I give up games when getting stuck for too long, but I like the simplicity of this game so moving on, trying to figure out what to do with the unreadable thumb drive (when you finally find it, of course it had to be unreadable 😊) …
Noticed that I’ve already enjoyed one of your previous games, Midnight Explorers, which I played through twice.
Edited: "Heroine" and "The Survivor?" achieved. I had a good time, thinking outside the box.
Just finished the game(Heroine ending) and it is quite good one despite being short.Nice work with lighting by the way.Puzzles can be a little bit puzzling but that is totally OK (puzzles called puzzles for a reason after all huh).
You need to combine the numbers you get from the cactus, billiard ball and dart board in the order you get from the symbols under the painting in the same room (the moon and sun correspond to whether the lights of the room should be on or off when you look at the objects).

Once you stepped in Prescott's apartment and then manage to escape through the elevator, it will lead to "The Accused" ending.
There seems to be a bug causing the stranger to spawn outside of its intended location when the police arrive.. let me look into that.
Thanks for your feedback! Enjoyed watching you play :D

Oh I just discovered the bug that caused this... thanks again for pointing it out
I can't figure out the password to Prescott's computer someone help (and idk what to do with the compass)
*spoiler* if you place the needle in the compass, it points to "north west 310", that's the password
i totally thought i put that in oops. thank you!
I've been stuck for an hour now. I guess I need the combination for the safe to move further. A hint, please?
*Minor spoiler* The combination is in the thumbdrive in the locked book of your shelf
Thx for reply.

Got stuck at Prescott's apartment, how to get the code to the statue?

Thanks!
im playin and it looks good but the fourth animals riddle kinda got me stuck :C
you'll just need to look for references of the four animals in the apartment.. it could be some shape/pictures/patterns/painting :)
ohh i get it now thanks!
